Niche Edit
A niche edit (also called a link insertion) is a backlink added inside an existing, already-indexed article on a third-party site — instead of placing a new guest post.
Niche edits skip the content-creation step: you (or an outreach partner) pay or persuade the publisher to drop a contextual link into a relevant existing article that already has authority and traffic.
Why Niche Edit matters
Done well — relevant article, real publisher, natural placement — niche edits pass more equity than a brand-new guest post because the host page already has accumulated authority.
How Niche Edit works in practice
Done badly — irrelevant articles on PBN-style sites, bulk insertions, exact-match anchors — they look exactly like the link spam Google's algorithms target. Quality and relevance still rule.
