Link Building
Trust Flow
Quick definition
Trust Flow is Majestic's 0–100 metric measuring the quality and trustworthiness of a website's backlink profile.
Trust Flow estimates how trustworthy a site is based on the proximity of its backlinks to a hand-curated set of trusted seed sites.
Why Trust Flow matters
It's typically paired with Majestic's Citation Flow (link quantity). A healthy site has both metrics elevated and their ratio reasonably balanced — usually 0.7–1.0.
How Trust Flow works in practice
Trust Flow is most useful for outreach qualification and for spotting link sources whose link counts inflate their apparent strength without corresponding trust.
